One of my favorite blogs in the world is Oh So Beautiful Paper. It is the best place to see the latest and greatest in the paper goods world, and I'm constantly swooning over each post. I was lucky enough to be featured on there last year, and this week my submission of my sister's wedding invitations was also picked up! This was my first invitation suite using foil, and you should all know by now that I *love* foil. It's just so fun and adds a nice, simple touch. Check out the feature here! And many thanks to Paul Rich Studio for shooting the suite for me– it's another lovely addition to the gallery on my website. He has done a perfect job capturing the details of my work in photos, and I'm so grateful!

Happy Halloween! Today I'm looking back at the fabulous photos by Jessica Hill Photography from this Halloween-themed shoot put together by Champagne Wedding Coordination for Style Unveiled. Black chandeliers, purple metallics, pumpkin placecard holders, black lace, and a full styled candy bar– need I say more? My fave photos are below, the rest can be seen here at Style Unveiled! If you know me, you know I'm a tad obsessed with laser cutting & engraving– so when the idea came about for a styled shoot that incorporated bronze metallic, I immediately started researching what type of bronze material could be cut. Enter flexibrass! I used it for the couple's names to be hung above the dessert table, and an inverted option for a styled vignette near the guestbook table. For the paper suite, I added stripes using metallic paint for a fun and inexpensive way to add some shine. Below are a few of my favorite shots (thanks to the lovely Brittany Lauren), but for more of this winter industrial goodness be sure to check out the full feature over on Style Me Pretty. Last year I was contacted by a lovely gal named Kate who was creating a new, high-end wedding inspiration website called H&H Weddings (H&H stands for Hers & Hers, and His & His). Since I am all about LOVE is LOVE, equality, who am I to judge who you love, and all that goodness, I said, "Sign me up!" She invited me to take part in an inspiration shoot taking place in New York, shot by the amazing Jen Huang. Kate had some great ideas for the suite involving trees and wood, but really didn't set any boundaries (which you know I looooove), so I came up with the suite shown below. The coaster and invitation were engraved on wood... mmmm! In today's feature, they say: "Lindsay of Paper Bloom Studio is one of those fabulous people that makes you want to get married, just so she can create something amazing for you. We had the pleasure of working with her on one of our inspiration shoots and she could not have been more wonderful! We asked her to tell us a bit about what she does and why she does it." Last year, I worked on a super cool photoshoot with the lovely Stephanie Major of Petalos. The ideas this woman comes up with always amaze me, so when she simply told me the theme of the shoot she was planning– plaid and leather– I asked no questions and was totally on board. It was already an exciting shoot, but then she asked my younger sister and her boyfriend to model. Even better! The list of amazing professionals involved is below the photos (shot by another amazing talent, Bryan Rupp Photography). To see the full feature on Style Me Pretty, go here! From our first meeting I just knew this wedding would be killer. They said all the right things to make me swoon: Hotel de Luxe, art deco, black + white + red color palette, custom logo, and my all-time favorite– clear acrylic! I had such a good time working with them and their awesome wedding coordinator, Mandi from Champagne. Here are a few shots of their invitation (by Paul Rich) and other goodies by their photographer Craig Mitchelldyer. See more from Craig here, and Champagne's blog post with even more photos.
Last summer I had the pleasure of working with Lacey and DJ on their Save the Dates, wedding invitations, and day-of paper goods. Lacey and I knew each other from grade school, but were a few years apart and didn't know each other that well. I had such a good time getting to know her (and DJ) better through this process! They had such great ideas and a perfect vision what they wanted for their paper items, but still left a ton of room for creativity. in the end we were all really happy with the outcome! Below are a few photos of their suite (thanks to Paul Rich Studio!) and one of the beautiful couple from FS Photography. Check out this blog post to see more!
Did you know Portland has the most amazing wedding professionals than any other place in the world? Yep! It's possible I have no actual statistics to back up such a claim, but ask any pro around here and I bet they'd say it, too. I've been fortunate enough to work with some pretty incredible businesses around here in the 8+ years I've been part of the wedding industry, and the latest styled shoot I was part of to hit the lovely internet included many people that I adore. Check out a few photos below thanks to Bryan Rupp Photography The whole shebang was put together by Champagne Wedding Coordination and Bella Bloom Florals. So, so very gorgeous!
